HOTEL FACILITIES

Dining at The Leopard: Here your gastronomic safari begins – a choice of settings and flavours to entice the most demanding palate. Guests can opt for full board or half board basis (lunch OR dinner can be taken) at Leopard Beach , but for all the day begins with a bountiful buffet breakfast – tropical fruits, healthy cereals or the ‘Full English’ fry-up. Three table-d’hôte venues are rotated throughout the week: a buffet or set-menu in the Horizon Restaurant and Terrace, dine al fresco on the Coco Beach BBQ, or enjoy an African cultural night with traditional dishes on the ‘Nyama Choma’ terrace overlooking the Indian Ocean. Our a la carte options are just as varied. Our award winning Chaines des Rotisseurs speciality restaurant, the ‘Chui Grill’ offers fresh seafood and grills in a teak-timbered deck overlooking the lilly ponds – fine dining at its finest and perfect for that romantic meal. For lunch, sample our stir-fries at Coco Mchana on Coco Beach or try our Italian speciality restaurant – Pizza ‘n’ Pasta Tornati.
The place to see and be seen, ‘Mario’s’ bar is a polished mahogany, rosewood and teak cocktail bar with brass rivets, moulded trims, twisted rope and bench seating hand built by local Italian boat-builder Mario Scianna. During the day Mario’s changes into a laid-back sports bar showing the day’s highlights and headline news. After the success of Mario’s, another exquisite bar was born from the hands of talented local artisans. Marco’s – built in the same style as Mario’s – is an al fresco bar built on a coral cliff overlooking the pool and Ocean. Built to resemble a twin-decked schooner, sails provide shade from the tropical sun and guests can enjoy a wide selection of cocktails and ‘tapas’ Carved deep into the same coral cliffs, the Mahogany Lounge and Disco is the ideal venue for daytime relaxation by the poolside and the nightlife hub of the resort where live bands, disco and cultural performances are held. And the Poolside Bar itself is the ideal oasis for sun worshippers to quench their thirst after a hard morning sun bathing, swimming or aqua aerobics.
